In a vacuum injection, the mold is brought into a vacuum and the matrix is injected by utilizing the vacuum. Compared to lamination a smaller production expense and higher reinforcement content are achieved.

Volume could be from few pieces to several hundreds per year. Mold can be a plastic or an aluminium mold.
